Ryan has been my go-to PT here in Waco for the past several years. His services raise the bar of excellence and what it means to be a physical therapist. Ryan doesn't just talk you through difficult movements and care routines -- he will demonstrate all movements to you in a step-by-step process that will leave you feeling smarter and more confident in what your body can do. His expertise and athleticism is truly impressive. You should see what he can do on a rower, my goodness!
I went in for treatment on an injured shoulder and knee years ago and left with a new friend. Ryan is one of the most caring, personable, and passionate guys I've had the pleasure of knowing. He truly loves what he's doing and it shows in the way he treats his clients and how he interacts with others in the community.
Feel free to stop him while he's ordering coffee somewhere in town and ask him how you can stop hurting; he may just give you your answer right then and there! Couldn't recommend anyone better.

I’ve been experiencing back issues since high school. I’m now 27 and I’ve never felt better. Ryan is a problem solver. He’s helped me identify the issue and come up with a simple game plan to help me be at my optimal level.
I love working out and being active. Up front he asked a lot of questions. He wanted to help find a way to make sure that I got to continue to do what I love in a better way. Not only does he make me feel physically better, but he is easy and great to be around. You can tell that he loves what he does.

Now in my mid-30’s, I’ve racked up many miles running as well as a few knee and ankle issues. Those include 2 meniscus tear/repair surgeries and an ankle fracture. Specifically, I saw Dr. Ryan because the ankle on my ‘problem leg’ was failing on long runs. Dr. Ryan and I discussed all of this history. He took the time to understand what I was trying to achieve and what was stopping me from getting there. Dr. Ryan found weak muscles to strengthen and overcompensating muscles to loosen. For example, he found my left arch had fallen so we worked to rebuild it; or, we did lots of work to loosen/strengthen my hamstrings. His approach is different – I’ve experienced physical therapy with three different pt's now. There is a noticeable difference between Dr. Ryan and the others. Dr. Ryan shows a true interest in rehabbing and/or developing his clients. With you being his only client at the time of the appointment, you'll get direct attention. And, he didn't kick me out early for paperwork! If your appointment is an hour, he'll give you the full 60 minutes. I'd put him in a hybrid category of rehabilitation specialist and strength coach. I recommend him.
I had injured my back deadlifting. For 8- 9 months I lived in extreme pain(the kind that makes your molars tingle) and even things like riding in a car were extremely uncomfortable, much less the things I like to do for fun-like mountain biking. I thought I was going to live that way forever. Super depressing. When I went to see Ryan, I was 80% better after the first session! I couldn't believe it! After the second session I was good to go. It's almost as if I was never injured. And he gave the tools and excercises I need to strengthen the weak area from time to time. He really takes the time to make sure you are doing well. I highly recommend this guy!

Went to Ryan for knee pain. Was a little shocked at how much intentional time he took to diagnose why I was in pain and then “go after” the source. We even tested it out with some resistance training. I saw results on day 1. It’s only been 3 weeks and my knee has never felt better. It’s not magic. It’s doing the things he told me to do. I just didn’t know what to do. So glad I went to him. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr. Ryan is remarkable. He’s helping me with my ACL post surgery recovery. I wish I went to him from the start.
